Reward per 1,000 PAPER
What 1,000 staked PAPER earned per day, paid in USDC.
Lifetime payout per PAPER
Everything paid to stakers since launch, divided by every PAPER in existence (most PAPER was minted later).
Mint cost of one PAPER
Losing trades mint PAPER. This is the loss it takes to get one; it rises over time.
Payback
Days a freshly minted, staked PAPER takes to earn back its mint cost if rewards stay where they are. New PAPER keeps lowering rewards, so expect longer.
Daily reward per 1,000 staked PAPER
From Papertrade's reward counter at each UTC midnight where our collector has readings. Earlier days are approximate: USDC paid that day divided by the average PAPER staked (previous and current end of day). Launch day (Oct 10) paid about $9.59 per 1,000 PAPER, a one-off while staking opened, so it is left out of the chart and the averages.
PAPER right now
Share of all PAPER that is staked and earning.
Supply grew 0.86% on Oct 17: each PAPER's slice of the rewards shrinks by about that much.
Reward per 1,000 staked PAPER per day from Papertrade's reward counter.
Lifetime payout per PAPER
Total ever paid to stakers / PAPER supply at the end of each day.
Paid to stakers per day
USDC shared by all stakers each day (launch day left out).
PAPER supply
All PAPER in existence at the end of each day. New PAPER dilutes the rewards.
Stake ratio
Share of all PAPER that is staked. Nearly all of it is.
Trader PnL per day
What traders won or lost against the house that day. Big losing days are what fund big payouts.
Mint rate
Now 11.73 PAPER per $1 of loss. Papertrade does not publish its history, so this chart fills in from our own hourly readings, one point per day.
PAPER minted per $1 of mint basis (98% of a loss). It falls over time, so each new PAPER costs more.
How PAPER pays
- 1.Losing trades mint PAPER. Close a trade at a loss on Papertrade and you get PAPER: 11.73 per $1 on 98% of the loss right now, so one PAPER costs about $0.087 of loss.
- 2.Staked PAPER earns USDC. Papertrade pays stakers in USDC around the clock, split by how much each one stakes. Lately that is about $0.57 a day for every 1,000 PAPER.
- 3.More PAPER, thinner slices. Every new PAPER takes a share of the same payouts. Supply grew 0.86% on the last full day.
- 4.Payback ties it together. At today's numbers a new PAPER pays back its mint cost in about 150 days. That is not a price: rewards change daily and new supply lowers them.
